Kevin Brownlow, Michael Kloft Kevin Brownlow was born in the UK in 1938. He began collecting films at the age of eleven. He has directed two feature films. In 1968, he published THE PARADE'S GONE BY, a classic oral history of Hollywood's silent film era. He has since published numerous other books, and directed several documentaries.
