People dream of falling love, getting married and raising
the perfect family but sometimes life doesn't fit into those
cookie cutter images. What happens when things are not what
they appear and behind those smiles of mother and father were
secret lives of living in the closet.
Katherine
Leggett spent five years working and studying photography
in Eastern Europe, primarily in Budapest, Hungary and Cluj,
Romania. After moving to New York City she worked as the Assistant
Editor for Big Mouth Productions' Deadline, which premiered
at Sundance in 2004. She received a B.A. in Sociology from
the University of Madison-Wisconsin and will receive her master's
in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University in
June 2005. Small Town Secrets is her third short film made
during her first year in film school.
