A simple idea creates a powerful and surprising
movie.
Here is the idea: take George W. Bush's
"Axis of Evil," cut it up word by word, and then put it into
alphabetical order. We see all of Bush's unique facial gestures, his
moments of aggression and assertion, and his odd attempts at humor.
With Bush's words split up in such a
scientific way, the viewer is offered a unique and powerful perspective
on the phenomena that he represents.
Lenka
Clayton was born in 1977 in Derbyshire, U.K. She studied art
and design at Falmouth Art College, Cornwall, and St. Martin's College
of Art and Design. She lived for several years in Berlin, Germany, and
is currently studying for a degree in documentary direction from the
National Film and Television School in London.
