OT: Country of
production: USA A school in the hood puts on a play from the sticks. Under-financed and understaffed, Dominguez High School in Compton, California has no theatre and has not put on a play in over twenty years. With no help from the school and the cafeteria as their theatre, two teachers and twenty-four students mount a production of OUR TOWN, written by Thornton Wilder. OT: OUR TOWN combines this specific overcoming adversity story with the play's depiction of a "normal" American town and its values. The result is an original portrait of an American community.
