LOVE
INVENTORY Country of
production: Israel The limits of family. In the wake of their father's death, filmmaker David Fisher, his brothers, and their sister re-examine the case of a brother who had died in infancy. Slowly, they come to believe that brother was born with a twin sister. That sister was apparently ripped from her mother's arms and placed into adoption. The film becomes a painful but also essential search through the memories of family and friends, as well as through records kept at hospitals in the early days of Israeli statehood and beyond. The result is a stirring and searching portrait of a family redefining itself in a time of grief. Director:
