A remarkable portrait of a man battling the odds. Stanislaw Kmiecik is a disabled painter. He was born without hands, and uses his legs and feet in their place. This includes painting. He leads a normal life with his wife and children. But as an artist, he is tough - a rebel and a fighter.

Marek Kilaszewski studied in Camerimage Film School in Torun (1997-2000). He has made two documentary films: CRIME AND LOVE (2000); LIFE ON THE EDGE OF CREATION (2001).

Jacek Knopp graduated from the School of Film and TV in Katowice (cinematography) in 1987. He is a director of photography at TV Cracow. Since 1993, he has also been a freelance cinematographer and film director. Selected filmography: WE LAST (1989); THE CATHEDRAL (1990); LANDSCAPE BEFORE SILENCE (1996); TOUCH ME (1999).
