ANDREA GRONVALL [USA]
Andrea Gronvall is a Chicago-based journalist and frequent contributor to the Chicago Reader, the Los Angeles-based web site MovieCityNews.com and OffOffOff.com , New York’s web site devoted to alternative culture.

She earned eight Emmy award nominations during her long tenure as the producer of the nationally syndicated movie-review show “Siskel & Ebert, now known as “Ebert & Roeper.” Her most recent television work is on a Showtime pilot called “A More Perfect Union”, the latest project by documentary filmmakers Joe and Harry Gantz.

Andrea is a frequent guest speaker at Talk Cinema, and has also lectured for The Criterion Collection and the Chicago Cultural Center. She is an alumnus of Northwestern University’s Radio/TV/Film division, from which she graduated with honors for her studies in film history, theory and criticism.

Patrick McGavin is a Chicago-based writer and critic. His essays, reviews and profiles have appeared in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, Filmmaker Magazine and The Nation.

MARK PERANSON [CANADA]
Mark Peranson is editor and publisher of Cinema Scope magazine and a programmer for the Vancouver International Film Festival. His writing on film also appears regularly in The Village Voice and The Globe and Mail.
