of production: Israel
Time is a universal issue: everyone deals with it. But Israelis would seem to have a unique relation to it. They are pursued by both glories and traumas in the past, both physical as well as emotional. Everything is always on the brink of change, so when change does occur, later on the naming of such moments has a specific resonance. This film confronts such issues and others in a unique, serious, yet somewhat bemused style. It's a lot of fun, but also very serious.
