AN INJURY TO ONE
Original language title: [same]

Country of production: USA
Year: 2002
Language: English
53 mins.

AN INJURY TO ONE reconstructs the long-forgotten murder of union-organizer Frank Little in the town of Butte, Montana. Formally and politically the film draws on the New Latin American cinema of the 1970s: blocks of words stream across the screen to breathtaking music, and a copper company looks to be up to no good. This is a blunt and confrontational film with a message to get across, and with lyricism and talent to burn. AN INJURY TO ONE features the music of such powerful musicians as Low, Will Oldham, Jim O'Rourke, If thousands, and others. Not to be missed.
