AN
INJURY TO ONE Country of
production: USA AN INJURY TO ONE reconstructs the long-forgotten murder of union-organizer Frank Little in the town of Butte, Montana. Formally and politically the film draws on the New Latin American cinema of the 1970s: blocks of words stream across the screen to breathtaking music, and a copper company looks to be up to no good. This is a blunt and confrontational film with a message to get across, and with lyricism and talent to burn. AN INJURY TO ONE features the music of such powerful musicians as Low, Will Oldham, Jim O'Rourke, If thousands, and others. Not to be missed. Director:
Travis Wilkerson Travis Wilkerson grew up in the mountains of Colorado and Montana. He studied foreign languages and literature before turning to movies. He has completed works including ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT: IN THE IDIOM OF SANTIAGO ALVAREZ (1999) and AN INJURY TO ONE (2002). Friday, March
