This film tells of the 40-day Israeli siege of the church of the nativity in Bethlehem. The story is told through interviews of eyewitnesses (many of them religious leaders) and by incorporating actual footage of the siege.

Yahya Barakat is a graduate of the High Institute of Cinema and the Academy of Art in Cairo, Egypt. Mr. Barakat has directed seven documentary films, which have screened at festivals in Carthage, Cairo, Moscow, and beyond. Currently he works in the Programming Department of the Palestinian Satellite Channel and lectures at Jerusalem University.
