HEAVEN
ON EARTH Country
of production: Germany Branson, Missouri. Some call it the new Nashville; others the Las Vegas of the Bible Belt. Over the past ten years, nearly 40 theaters have shot out of the ground in this once sleepy Ozark town. Country music legends and acting legends of years gone by have reincarnated themselves, offering up patriotic, Christian entertainment to six million tourists annually. Light-hearted and ironic, HEAVEN ON EARTH takes a behind the scenes look at this mythical American town. The film features the largest Veteran's Day celebration in the United States. At this parade, we get a rare interview with Paul Tibbets, pilot of the Enola Gay, who reflects on his dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. We also see the spectacular resurrection of Jesus in the musical THE PROMISE. This is a film about God, country, and country music. Director:
