You've gotta love Larry. The filmmaker's neighbor is a 60-year-old activist and fundraiser with mental retardation. Larry raises thousands of dollars for charity every year while he lives in virtual poverty. Because of his years of service and friendship, his neighbors have decided to take care of him in a difficult time.

Alice Elliott grew up in Evanston, Illinois, and studied at the Goodman Theatre. She produced the award-winning documentary DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH, about a baseball team from Washington Heights, Manhattan. She has co-produced for Cinemax, written for Nickelodeon, and published plays for young adults. For ten years, she played an onscreen role on ABC's soap opera LOVING. Ms. Elliott teaches at New York University's School for Continuing Education, is a former board member of New York Women in Film and Television, and is the videographer for Judson Memorial Church.
