Bollywood, India's vast movie-making capital, produces hundreds of movies a year. Each day, hundreds of hopefuls descend on the city of Bombay with dreams in their eyes. They come from the fields of Punjab, the plains of Gujarat, the deserts of Rajasthan...and the suburbs of Canada. BOLLYWOOD BOUND is the story of four Indo-Canadians seeking out their dreams in a culture that shapes their identity. They grew up thinking of themselves as Indian, but here in India they are treated as anything but. Nonetheless, they persevere and seek out their Bollywood dreams.
