Robert is eighteen years old, and addicted to crime (among other things). This must change.

Robert gets locked up, in an "AEA," a sort of young adult work camp inside a former monastery. There, in a concentrated and controlled environment, he has nowhere to run. His lies will come out, drugs are alcohol are forbidden, and disobedience can earn a trip to an extended solitary lock-up.

Director Lukas Schmid lived with Robert and the others in the AEA for several months, earning their trust and capturing tender, private, and funny moments. He has crafted a powerful and highly insightful film.

Lukas Schmid was born in 1977 in Baden, Switzerland. He holds diploma in modern languages and as a director of documentaries. He has worked professionally as a director of photography and editor.
